The XF200 series handheld infrared thermal cameras are designed for the early detection of temperature-related faults in electrical panels, transformer substations, power transmission lines and mechanical equipment.
With its high-resolution touchscreen, large image storage capacity and wireless data transfer features, it provides fast, accurate and reliable measurements in the field. The XF200-D and XF200-E models offer professional solutions for energy distribution, industrial maintenance and technical inspection applications with different IR resolution and temperature range options.

The XF200-D and XF200-E models provide ideal solutions for routine inspections and preventive maintenance operations in the energy distribution sector. With thermal imaging, overheating, loose connections, contact resistance caused by oxidation and load imbalances in electrical equipment can be detected quickly.
High and Low Voltage Switchgear Panels:
Internal components such as circuit breakers, contactors, fuses and connection points can be inspected to detect abnormal temperature increases.
Transformers:
Transformer bodies, terminals, bushings and critical connection points can be examined to evaluate signs of overload or internal faults.
Busbar Systems and Cable Trays:
Temperature distribution in dense busbar and cable systems can be analyzed to detect local overheating at an early stage.
Electrical Connection Points:
Temperature checks can be performed on critical connection points such as disconnectors, circuit breakers and cable lugs.
Motors and Frequency Converters:
Motor body temperature, bearing areas and cooling performance can be evaluated while the equipment is operating.
Low Voltage Systems and UPS Units:
Distribution panels, terminal blocks, fuses and UPS output filters can be inspected to detect possible hidden faults.
For the most accurate results, thermal camera inspections should preferably be carried out under weather conditions with no precipitation, low wind speed, no direct sunlight and relatively stable ambient temperature.
Avoid Precipitation:
Rain or snowfall may negatively affect measurement accuracy.
Check Wind Speed:
The recommended wind speed should be ≤ 5 m/s.
Choose Suitable Inspection Hours:
For outdoor applications, such as transformer substations and power transmission lines, early morning hours before sunrise or evening hours 1-2 hours after sunset should be preferred.
Avoid Direct Sunlight:
Sunlight may heat equipment surfaces or cause reflections, leading to incorrect evaluations.
Suitable Ambient Temperature:
The ideal operating range is 5°C - 30°C.
Equipment Should Operate Under Load:
The inspected equipment is recommended to have operated under at least 30% of its nominal load for a minimum of 1 hour.
