The SmartEAR®+ eH extends the SmartEAR®+ series with a powerful IoT solution that has been specially developed for connecting hydrophones. With this innovative module, hydrophones such as the PAM Hydro-3 or PAM Hydro-SL can be connected directly to the POSEYEDON® cloud platform from SebaKMT. This enables simple and reliable transmission of measurement data for analysis and leak detection in water supply systems
Successful in practice
The SmartEAR®+ eH has already proven itself as an upgrade for existing SmartEAR systems. The device has proven itself in the field, particularly in challenging conditions such as limited space or weak radio signals. The simple installation via a mobile app and reliable data transmission to the cloud set the SmartEAR®+ eH apart from conventional solutions.
Within a short time of the first field operation, two leaks were discovered and confirmed. The first leak alone had a leakage rate of 300 liters per hour. The subsequent repair made it possible to save several thousand cubic meters of treated drinking water, which not only reduced costs but also prevented consequential damage.
