Pre-identifier for de-energised LV and MV cables
JUPITER E
JUPITER E can be used on all types of de-energised LV/HV cables:
- Cable pre-identification
- Identification of short circuit (SC) and open circuit (OC) conductors
- Short circuit continuity (CC) and open circuit continuity (CO)
- Qualified to check the electrical circuit diagram as prescribed by Enedis
IMPORTANT POINTS
The JUPITER E includes all the functions of the JUPITER+, but has the following new features:
- Simplified ergonomics: In CO marking, a code
thanks to the direct connection of the phases with the switch terminals
Reading.
Colour to distinguish 2 ends
- Defining continuity and neutrality in direct reading
- Detection of the direction of the current generated by the transmitter: one colour
code identifies the position of the transmitter
In relation to the orientation of the Rogowski cycle
- Greatly reduced weight and volume
- Optimised accessory storage space
PRINCIPLES OF USE
JUPITER E consists of a transmitter and a receiver that can be used in a locked, short-circuited and earthed network. The transmitter is connected in a substation, to a MV cell or LV feeder with 3 injection clamps (excluding screens and equipotential bonding). The receiver can be used to pre-identify the cable, check continuity and identify open circuit and short circuit phases.
